"We Own 20 Percent of Turkey's Ecosystem"
Orhan Tanışman, General Manager of YTU Yıldız Technopark, said: "As Technopark, we are working with all our strength to produce technology with nearly 700 technology companies. Threats will exist by nature, and the human part is to be able to identify the risks on the way. Each of the risks is not visible to the eye, you cannot measure them with data, but you can model them. Here, as individuals in the world of technology, we have the opportunity to identify risks with the help of technology and minimise their impact by placing a high level of control against the risk. As Yıldız Technopark, we are working with more than 700 companies to build this culture. As Yıldız Technopark, we own 20 per cent of Turkey's ecosystem. The earthquake had a very shocking and awakening effect. With InsurTech Hub, we tried to raise awareness not only about the earthquake, but also about climate change, migration brought about by change, and all the risks that affect life and prevent us from reaching our goals, in order to solve them with the help of technology."
