Finance Startups Introduced at Fide Demo Day Event

In order to contribute to the fintech ecosystem that aims to compete with traditional financial methods, YTU Yıldız Technopark and Ziraat Finance Group collaborated. In line with the cooperation, entrepreneurs who can produce innovative solutions in the field of fintech and use technology to improve activities in the field of finance were supported with the "Fide Acceleration Programme" in order to bring them together with investors. Within the scope of the programme, a large number of applications from different cities in Turkey were evaluated under many topics such as innovative digital banking, online payment systems, blockchain-based financial applications, digital solutions for SMEs, financial data analytics solutions with machine learning. As a result of the evaluations made by the jury, 11 early-stage entrepreneurs who have started to produce MVP (Minimum Viable Product) with fast growth potential on a global scale or whose MVP is ready have participated in the programme.

Entrepreneurs were mentored for 6 months

For 6 months, the entrepreneurs included in the programme were provided with more than 15 trainings and more than 100 hours of one-to-one mentoring services by nearly 30 mentors on important topics such as opening to the global market, accessing investment, marketing and sales. Meetings were also organised for entrepreneurs to come together with the leading organisations of the sector in order to promote the products they developed.

In this context, 11 entrepreneurs who came to the end of the programme came together with institutions and organisations providing services in the field of banking and finance and presented the products they developed with the "Fide Demo Day" event.
