MEMBER OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Born in Çaykara, Trabzon, Prof. Dr. İsmail Yüksek completed his Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctorate degrees at Yıldız Technical University (YTU). He was awarded the title of Professor in 2005 and has achieved significant success in both education and research, holding various academic and administrative positions. He served as the Rector of Yıldız Technical University from 2008 to 2016 and as the Rector of Antalya Bilim University from 2016 to 2024.

Prof. Dr. Yüksek also held key leadership roles, including Chair of the Yıldız Technical University Foundation from 2015 to 2016 and Chair of the YTU Technopark Board of Directors from 2014 to 2016. From 2017 to 2019, he was the Senior Advisor to the President of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, and from 2020 to 2023, he served as Vice President of the Antalya Organized Industrial Zone Technopark. As of October 2024, he has assumed the role of President of the YTU Foundation and is a Board Member of YTU Yıldız Technopark.

Prof. Dr. Yüksek has been an influential figure in Türkiye's scientific and industrial progress, serving on the boards of prominent organizations such as the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization of Türkiye (KOSGEB) Board of Directors, TÜBİTAK Advisory Committees, the TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) Board of Directors, and the TÜBİTAK Science Board. He continues to serve on the Istanbul Technopark Board of Directors.

In his academic career, Prof. Dr. Yüksek has led important projects on vehicle vibrations and active control systems, supervising numerous Ph.D. theses. He has conducted research in Italy and Japan with scholarships, specializing in mechatronics engineering and vehicle vibrations.
